Movies That Should be Made into Musicals

After stumbling upon a small theatre company in NYC that workshops musicals out of movies, I thought it would be fun to come up with a list of movies that I think would be good set to music. Here it is:

I've realized that most of these are already musicals (maybe not on the stage, but musicals nonetheless), so let's go in another direction...

Memoirs of a Geisha

A Little Princess (1993)

The First Wives' Club

Into the Wild
